I love this smoothie! I have to drink my protein powder everyday as part of my Lyme protocol so I have to find new ways to enjoy it or it can get boring pretty fast. The avocado gives it a rich, creamy texture and the cinnamon gives it a bit of a spicy touch. I think you’ll really like this one, plus it’s low in sugar so it’s great for those on a candida diet.
1 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or any dairy free milk)
1 cup spinach
1/2 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 scoop protein powder
water (optional if too thick)
Add all ingredients, except water, to a blender. Blend and add water until you reach desired consistency.
Sometimes I’ll add 1/3 cup of gluten free oats if I want a more filling breakfast and extra fiber.
