Make Your Own Antibacterial Kitchen and Bathroom Spray

Lately I’ve been making a lot of my own cleaning products in an effort to save money and reduce chemicals in my home. I’ve been chemical free for a while now with cleaning products but I’ve found that even when I switched to more “natural” cleaning products, they still had some iffy ingredients and sometimes the fragrances can be overwhelming for us Lymies who are sensitive to smells.

The ingredients are super easy to put together and it uses stuff I already have in my home so that’s a win! I love using essential oils for cleaning and the smells are not overwhelming at all and they make the house smell so clean. If you’re worried about the vinegar smell, don’t worry, it does go away quickly once it dries. Give this one a try, I think you’ll really like it! Use it in your kitchen, bathroom and even clean glass with it.

I’ll be posting some more recipes for other cleaners to help you save some money so subscribe and follow me on facebook and instagram so you don’t miss them!

fill half of a spray bottle with vinegar

fill the rest of the bottle with water

add 15 drops of essential oil

Shake and start cleaning!

Some of my favorite oils to use for cleaning and disinfecting are lemon, tea tree, rosemary and thieves. But feel free to use whatever your favorites are!

  1. I have used apple cider vinegar for my cleaning mixture and it works great! I now use Thieves Household Cleaner which is a plant derived cleaner already infused with essential oils! 😍
